How to play

Positions for OSB

  • Point Guard: Point guards direct the team‘s offense by controlling the ball and making sure it gets to the right player at the right time.
  • Shooting Guard: They support the point guard when bringing up the ball, and perform scoring duties from the perimeter.
  • Small Forward: They generally move in positions far from the basket and are the tallest players, their game is balanced between strength and shooting. Their physical characteristics have to be height and speed.
  • Power Forward: They are usually tall players who play close to the basket, skilled at rebounding and with good shooting in positions within the zone. Their main characteristic is usually power, sometimes playing center roles.
  • Center: They are usually the tallest players on the team, playing in positions close to the basket, both on offense and defense. Their main role within the team is to rebound at both baskets, and to intimidate on defense (scoring-defending).

  • Rebounds > x1.2
  • Assist > x1.5
  • Steals > x3
  • Blocks > x3
  • Turnovers > x-1
Rebounds: It is the action of recovering possession of the ball after a shot, block or failure.
Assist: It is a pass to a player who is in an advantageous position or who helps you get a basket.
Steals: It is when a defensive player forces an offensive player to lose the ball, resulting in a turnover. In conclusion, it is taking the ball away from your opponent.
Blocks: Offensive action by a player in which the attacker stands in the defender‘s path with the aim of preventing him from passing (blocking him).
Turnovers: It is when a team loses possession of the ball to the opposing team before a player takes a shot at their team‘s basket.
